I don’t know what to say about Lyme. For anyone suspecting of Lyme, diagnosed with Lyme or has a loved one with Lyme – I am truly sorry. It is a confusing and frustrating journey that, for many, isn’t short, but the good news is you’re not alone.
Getting the diagnosis usually takes time, frustration and no small amount of money and that’s just getting to the starting line. Once you have the diagnosis, there is so much to research. Should I get a second opinion? What doctor should I go to? What type of treatment do I want? What type of treatment does my body need? How will I pay for it? The list of questions goes on.
Every Lyme warrior’s journey is different. There is no one doctor that can heal every person, or one treatment that is a sure thing. There are a lot of dead ends in the journey, so try not to get too discouraged. Always remember, no matter what your immediate support system looks like (or doesn’t) you are never alone. There are thousands of Lyme warriors to meet and connect with across the globe.
Please reach out and suggest post topics or questions you have – if you are asking it, I probably did and hundreds of others are too!
