First step: Detox and Base Nutrients

One of the reasons I chose this doctor is that he uses specialty labs to track levels of elements at every step of each biochemical cycle (example below).  These specialty labs not only measures specific elements but then plugs the ratios of how they are used in the body into the cycle chart to show where the breakdown of the process is:

  1. Initial Labs 08/23/18NeurotransmitterMarkers082318

The first three weeks was detoxing and nutrient addition. Phosphorus and glutathione are the key ingredients (not the only) in the detox IV drips.

Phosphorus helps the kidney release toxins and stabilize fluid balance in the body. It is also a key element in the creation of protein and facilitates growth of healthy cells and the repair of unhealthy cells. It also benefits hormone balance in the body. Glutathione is an amazing antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and reactive oxygen compounds allowing them to leave the system faster. It is also used in DNA synthesis and repair, protein synthesis and enzyme activation. It aids greatly in pulling out toxins of many varieties.

For nutrient supplementation I am receiving high dose IV vitamin C, lipids (healthy fats) and amino acids. My test results show that I my ability to absorb amino acids, fats and vitamin c (below) is not currently working, requiring supplements by IV. With only detox and nutrients, my immune system absorbed a little (very little) vitamin C, kicked in and started killing on its own! This is a huge milestone for my immune system!  I have a long way to get on the normal range for vitamin c but it is such a positive that with something as natural as vitamin c, once my body even starts to absorb it kicks in!

One of my favorite moments so far in treatment that further proved that I’m in the right place happened in September.  Those that know me well, know I am not a big cryer, I don’t like it and don’t do it often. This one week I cried myself to sleep three nights, so I walked in to my nurse and told her to make it stop. She smiled at me, said no problem, drew a hormone blood panel:

Progesterone091218

It showed my progesterone had drastically dropped while my other hormones were in normal range, leading me to uncontrollable crying! They added a progesterone supplement and the crying stopped almost overnight!!! It amazes me on a daily bases how they are able to make immediate changes to my individual protocol, with scienfitic data, as my body changes with treatment.

Once I was cleaned up, on to the kill rounds!!
