Diagnosis to Recovery

Treatment is a very personal and difficult decision. Treatment is expensive, exhausting and there is no sure fire way to be healed or get to remission. Lyme disease is a diagnosis that covers many different strains of lyme with a wide range of symptoms. On top of lyme disease frequently the bite comes with co-infections. With so many factors at play, there is no one treatment that works for everyone.

My philosophy on treatment is finding the overlap between what works for my life and what I can afford and choose the best option. At different points in my journey, the best option has looked very different but each one was right for me at the time.

There are two main categories of treatments in my opinion: pharmaceutical and natural. The decision to use one or the other is different for each person. Personally, I have used a combination along my journey and have found both to be very beneficial at different points in my journey.

There is no perfect answer for treatment, unfortunately everyone has to find the treatments and doctors that work for them, but I hope by writing about the treatments I have done and those that I research, it can help others find their best treatment combinations.
